It happened when you closed your eyes. Maybe you were going to sleep, or maybe you died. Either way, when you awakened, you found yourself in an unfamiliar bedroom, in an apartment you’ve never set foot in before. You know you’ve never been here, yet you seem to know where everything is, and the more you think about it, the stronger the sense of déjà vu grows. This is your home; you’ve lived here for years, going about your life. That can't be right though, can it? On the one hand, your most recent memories say that you don't live here, but on the other, there are also memories that say you do. However, they are flawed. Your knowledge of this place extends to only the building that you woke up in, but not the city beyond. One thing is clear; this is not your home. This is not your life. Some force has brought you here, trapped you in this city. Yes, trapped, because should you venture too far outside of city limits, something stops you from going any farther, some sort of invisible force field. You’ve been brought here for a very important reason, and the fate of the entire supernatural realm hangs in the balance-your fate, too. If all magic and everything extraordinary should just cease to exist, after all, how will you get home? The way to save everything will eventually be revealed to you, if you can survive that long. Then Came the Night is a panfandom jamjar musebox with some game structures. There are no reserves, no applications, and no activity checks. It is basically invite only (though pretty much anyone who shows interest would be welcome). There is a general horror atmosphere, mixed with some slice of life elements. There will be plenty of opportunities for death and mayhem, as well as a walk on the wild side (literally, with the opportunity for characters to be transformed into supernatural creatures).
